This is not medical advice

MedsLens is a price comparison service. Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to take any medicine. Decisions about treatment belong with your GP, pharmacist or prescriber. If you feel unwell, contact a healthcare professional; in an emergency call 999 or NHS 111.

What MedsLens does

We collect prices that UK pharmacies publish on their own websites, and present them so they can be compared. We show when each price was last checked.

Prices can be wrong

Prices are collected automatically and can be out of date, incomplete, or incorrect. Pharmacies change prices without notice, run offers we may not capture, and charge separately for things like needles, delivery or consultations that a headline price does not include.

A pharmacy's own website is always the authority on what it charges. Check there before you buy. We do not accept liability for a price shown here being different from the price you are charged.

We are independent

We are not owned by, affiliated with, or paid by any pharmacy or manufacturer to rank it higher. Rankings are computed from price. Where we ever earn a commission from a link, we will say so plainly on the page it appears.

The dose schedules and calculators

Our course-cost calculations use published dose escalation schedules to estimate what a course might cost. They are arithmetic on public prices, not a treatment plan. Your prescriber decides your doses and how long you stay on each one, and real costs will differ.

The trial comparison in the app

Where the app shows how your weight change compares with published clinical trials, it is showing what those trials reported for their participants. It is context, not a target and not a prediction about you. Individual results vary enormously, and trial participants received support that you may not be getting.

The assistant

The assistant answers questions about prices and general medication information. It cannot give personalised medical advice and is instructed to refuse. Like any such system it can be wrong. Verify anything that matters, and never rely on it for a decision about your health.

Reminders in the app

Dose and injection reminders are a convenience based on what you tell the app. They are not a medication management system, they depend on your phone allowing notifications, and they can be delayed or missed. Do not use them as your only way of remembering to take a medicine.

Acceptable use

Please do not scrape, resell or redistribute our price data, attempt to disrupt the service, or misuse the assistant. We may withdraw access where that happens.

Liability

We provide MedsLens as it is, without warranty that prices are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the information here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
